Laura & Thomas' Classic Evergreen Winter Wedding

A Glimpse into Their Story

Laura & Thomas started their journey over drinks at a work happy hour. After a bit of playful banter and a few stolen glances, the rest is history. Tom’s proposal, with Laura’s favorite white roses and a background tune of "Big Plans", was the stuff of dreams. They celebrated with close-knit family and friends, making the moment even more special. Between Laura's passion for horseback riding and Tom's love for fishing, these two have adventures galore. And their shared love? Their pup, Ella Mae, and indulging in chicken cheesesteaks. A match made in heaven!

Setting the Stage

From our first meeting, Laura's bubbly personality shone through. She was clear about the vision she had for her big day - a romantic white wedding with lots of greenery and candles everywhere. She was certainly a bride with exquisite taste and imagined a wedding that was classic and had playful hints of their personalities. Together, we worked on bringing this romantic, winter wonderland to life.

Those Special Touches

Imagine this: pristine white floral arrangements with dark tablecloths and tall taper candles as far as the eye can see. We jazzed up the table settings with gold chargers and emerald green menus, adding a splash of modernity with a classic gold wax stamp. The Riverhouse at Odette’s was the perfect backdrop for the occasion.

Everywhere you turned, there was modern, thoughtful signage – we ditched the more traditional escort cards and created in-house a hanging seating chart display which had hanging panels wrapped in a soft deep green velvet fabric and added garlands in between each.

The signature drink sign showed an illustration of its namesake – Ella Mae. For a pinch of modern magic, instead of the usual guest book, we had a phone for guests to drop voice messages. Yep, voice notes! But for those who wanted to go old-school, we had a card box ready for handwritten notes. On the floral front, elegant white roses and light-colored blooms with shades of green and lots of baby’s breaths were created by A Cottage Gardener.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Laura’s words about our collaboration melted our hearts:

"Andi and her team are absolutely incredible! We hired Musa Weddings for design & day of management and Andi and the whole team really went above and beyond to make our wedding day seamless. Not only was Andi quick to respond to any questions or ideas I had, she was also a BLAST to work with! She took into account the vibe I was looking for and really made our vision come to life. Special shout out to Andrea who not only made sure I was taken care of the whole wedding day, she also held my dress for me while I made my way around the venue for photos in the freezing cold! If you want to not worry about anything on your wedding day, hire Andi & Musa Weddings, they are worth it!"

So there you have it – the enchanting tale of Laura and Tom's evergreen white wedding. Here's to love, warm memories, and yes, endless chicken cheesesteaks for the lovely couple! 🥂🎉🍾
