Rock Climbers' wedding

These two are way cooler than I could ever be! They love to rock climb and Steve brews his own beers! So we knew we had to incorporate this somewhere around their day in a nice and subtle way.

They were very clear from the beginning that they wanted to do a beer mixing ceremony and of course my reaction right away was.. YES!!! They mixed two of his homemade beers, one light (his favorite) and one dark (her favorite) to make the perfect blend. They then offered this beer at the bar during the reception.

Devyn and Steve hired us a little bit over a year before their wedding date to finish planning and to design their wedding. Their life with work, the bride's school and rock climbing was already busy enough to also throw in wedding planning into the mix!

We kept their signage made out of natural wood and black lettering with copper stands. For their table numbers (actually table names), we used all of the places they have rock climbed at together. Farm tables under the tent for dinner services with a garland of greenery and fall color blooms completed with fresh fruits to bring nature into the reception even more, making it feel warm and cozy.

They replaced the traditional cake cutting with a pie cutting and danced the night away with great music by MikeRy Productions and snapped pictures that will last forever at the Philly Snap Booth

For their design, we kept the color palette neutral with earth tones but added a touch of navy for an unexpected contrast and accents in copper.
