Lots of beautiful weddings happened in 2019, but Gena and Khoury's was one of our favorites, even though, we typically do not do many ballroom weddings, this one will always have a special place in our hearts.
Gena and Khoury hired us for full planning and design services, they had a very specific vision in mind for their wedding and The Ballroom At The Ben was the perfect place for it to come to life.
We went for lots of black, white and gold accents and we kept the floral arrangements loose and flowing to contrast with the venue which can be already a bit stuffy. The florals were provided by the always awesome Nancy Wisot from Wisot Designs who is one of our preferred florists. We had lots of candles around the ceremony space as well as guest tables to give that intimate feel to the evening.
The signage were kept consistent throughout, with black background and white lettering.
For the centerpieces, we couldn't ignore the super tall ceiling the venue has, so we added a few tall floral arrangements on gold stands and placed low flower arrangements and candle clusters on the rest of the guest tables.
The had a very special first look surrounded by the beauty and greenery of the Independence Park in Center City, Philadelphia, which gave some pretty amazing backgrounds for portraits.
